Rare Stefoinite Jasper Argentium Sterling Silver Storyteller Ring size 7.5

This unique stone is the quite rare Stefoinite Jasper, see the description below.
The band for this ring I made by fusing silver dust and tiny spiralings and bits of silver to the band. I never know what the pattern will look like until it’s finished. Absolutely one of a kind!

A note on the rings- the bands may vary greatly. Many have detailed designs.

Stefoinite is a rare brecciated jasper from Wyoming, most likely Sweetwater County, it was discovered originally by Rudy Stefoin. Stefoinite Jasper is limited as the exact location is no longer known as Rudy Stefoin kept it a secret. The location went to the grave with him, and collecting last occurred in the 1970s. Typically, it shows tan jasper with brecciated patterns filled with translucent black, white, or blue chalcedony.
